okay.. what is that very high pitched thingy u hear in alot of solos.. it sounds kinda like a scream. if u anyone knows what im talkin about.. plz tell me how to do them.. they just sound so cool in solos.. again sorry about askin dumb questions

Your may be simply talking about harmonics, in which case im not going to take this any further. It would be good if you could give an example such as which song, when abouts the sound occurs during the song.

well in the song whiplash by metallica (older song) theres a line in the solo that goes like this

Yeah man, you mean the Pinhc harmonics, they are pretty easy to do, it might take you a while, but I got it down in about 5 minutes or less, and I just learned by looking at that linked thing and it helped me because it shoed me a different and easier way, make sure you read all of those things , because everyone tell you a different thing and you can try them all to see what it the easiest way. The easiest way for me is to pick the string and then barely touch the string ith your middle find and make sure its the fleshy part under your finger kind of where it points, but not the front poin of your finger, make sure its the bottom. Not the middle finger - the "correct way" to do it is to use the middle knuckle of your thumb, but im not going to get into detail, why can't you just read the damn sticky. And for God's sake maniac, take some time when you type, its like a 3 year old bangin on a keboard.
