the 3 songs from the Viva Emptiness promo are on Soulseek now.. and probably other programs.. the songs are "Ghost of the Sun" "Criminals" and "Evidence"... at first I didn't like them very much at all.. except Evidence.. but they grew on me today.. great stuff.. judging from these it won't beat LFDGD though.. only thing I really don't like is the cursing.. in "Ghost of the Sun" the chorus contains both "Fuckin" and "shit".. sounds cheesy.. but oh well.

got those songs from soulseek few days ago...and they have really grown on me. can hardly wait until the end of march (or in case of estonia, end of april ). and at first listenings, this swearing also bothered me (especially considering that i really like katatonia texts), but as i listened to the song the music took over, and i don't mind it now. and all three songs have those memorable hooks that stick in head...excellent stuff.

also, there's one thing that kinda puzzles me. is the first song really "ghost of the sun"? cause (please bear in mind that english is not my native language) i couldn't find such a phrase there. but there seemed to be a line "...this city of glass that i live in...". oh well, it's not really that important.
