I agree with Walpurgis. Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia and Enthrone Darkness Triumphant are your best bet. Spiritual Black Dimensions has a couple of good tracks, but overall it's not that great of an album. Stormblast is one of they're older releases, and it's pretty good if you like that old school black metal. This is only my opinion here but, stay away from For All Tid. That album is just fucked up. I don't know why its called black metal. Anyway, go get those two albums mentioned above. You won't be disappointed. Also look for the new one later this year....

Enthrone Darkness Triumphant is my favorite and the one I'd recommend and I have 5 myself...actually, a good one to get that has both great production (surprisingly) and great songs on it, is their 5 song live CD. I dunno if you can still find it anywhere (it's cut out in the shape of a skull) but if you can, I would recommend that one, as well.

Yes, but a true metal fan might not have access to the vast amounts of money needed for everything he or she may want, not to mention it has to be readily available and accessible, which isn't always the case with ordering...
Not to mention the fact that some bands only have a couple good songs that I've heard of. Immortal for example. I love Tyrants, but I wouldn't buy their cd for it, it's not worth it.

yes, i am a true matalhead. the only income i have is a casual job that doesn't even give me $200 a month. i am a high school drop-out that smokes pot EVERY day(can get expensive, lucky for me i have good buddies that deal it, and they smoke a lot of their personal with me). now i am trying to save up for some new pick-ups for my guitar. and you want me to pay for every fuckin album i want to listen to? fuck man, i hardly own ANY albums.

P.E.M: Sure, it's good music, but it gets really boring after a while. Kings is an awesome song, but frankly I don't really like this style very much compared to the Enthrone sound ...

E.D.T: Dimmus best album, without doubt.
Stormblåst: Bad mastering. Was supposed to sound more like E.D.T, but it still has a great depressive sound.
For All Tid: Along with Stormblåst, the most satanic album they've ever written, but fucking good!

Silenoz said that the new album is released 8. september and they tried to get the same release date in USA.
Here is dimmu borgir in a song with the raper Diaz. He is also from Norway, and the song sucks.
