Any HIM fans here? I have only heard one of their songs, but it was pretty cool. I heard that their albums will soon be able in the U.S. under the name HER.

I think they're very gay.. all they do is sing about love and suicide.. there's like 2 songs of theirs I like.. There music is all over the CKY skate videos cause Bam Margera is in love with them. Valo has a good gothic voice though

Yeah, just by reading the song titles you can tell exactly what all the songs are about. Still, it is a cool kind of goth rock. I don't get why a band as mainstream sounding as them wouldn't have any albums availble in the U.S. yet.

I like their Razorblade Romance album. It is really good. But the latest album of theirs is nothing but fucking pop-music, and not very good pop-music either. That's AFTER their break-through. They're big in eastern Europe and Germany, and they are also starting to build a name here in Norway too...Their cover of Chris Isaaks Wicked Game is really cool!

2 of my friends like a few of their songs, but the thing I hate are these little "Rent-O-Goths" who hang aroung the mall where I work who have H.I.M. T-shirts on, and one of them is a girl who is about 13 or 14, she has a tattoo of the bands logo thing on her arm (see pic for location)

But i am going to say that i am through talking shit here. I say once again that i dont like this band, but i understand that some people do. So i will not critisize that any longer. death metal, cannibal corpse, amon amarth, arch enemy, death, asphyx, grave, exhumed, six feet under, shit like that, but i do like a lot of that medieval shit as well, though i dont know bands, a good friend of mine is really into that shit and makes mixes of it, so i have heard alot of black/viking/and medieval metal before. i am mostly into death/thrash metal, though i do like alot of out-there type shit, like pink floyd, the cure, a select few emo bands on occasion, and some very rare nu-metal, like mudvayne, and goth metal ala type o negative and lacuna coil.

Not bad, I have pretty much abandoned the death metal category. To me it is a bit boring. There are a few choice bands though. Cryptopsy, Nile were always two of my favorite. and old deicide. I dont know if you were suggesting amon amarth to be death metal. I greatly see that as viking. But it really doesnt matter. The vocals are quite deathish now though. I am no fan of nu metal, in fact it is a shame what in flames has come to...
