CRYPTOPSY: Live Album Track Listing Unveiled - Feb. 5, 2003

Canadian death metallers CRYPTOPSY have set the track listing for their first-ever live album, "None So Live", due in the spring through Century Media Records.

Recorded at the Medley in Montreal last June during the Week-end Extrême, "None So Live" is the first CRYPTOPSY release to feature the band's new vocalist Martin Lacroix (ex-SPASME), who replaced Michael DiSalvo in 2001.

I REMEMBER THAT JOHN HAD SOME SOUND PROBLEM DURING PHOBOPHILE'S GUITAR SOLO (IT CUT FOR ALMOST 10 SEC...) HOPE IT'S GONNA BE FIXED. AND THE ALMIGHTY
FLO MOUNIER WITH HIS DRUM SOLO WOOHOO!!!!!!

Cryptopsy doesnt sound very good to me without Lord Worm.....but I'll check out the live shit since their doing songs off the first two albums.

Its' out! I got it yesterday.

Very good live album, about 55 minutes long. About the song phobophile:
Yes, there is a piano intro
Yes, they re-did the solo (pretty good too, i wouldnt have been able to tell that they re-did it if delete79 hadnt told me in advance)
and Yes, the album kicks ass

but i thought LaCroix's screeches were a bit weak.

Most Cryptopsy fan know that Martin Lacroix (their singer) left the band.
Since, there's a message on www.cryptopsy.net that say "Guess who's back".
And some people around here wonder who it is.

So i was in Montreal downtown to the HMV (local cd store) and i saw this guy who
works there that looks like Alex Auburn from Cryptopsy. but the ressemblance
is too big to be just a coincidence. But i didn't pay attention until another guy who
works there called him Alex. So i ask him what was his last name. He tells me "Auburn". So your Cryptopsy's guitarist?. He looks at me and smile.

I ask him what's up with the new singer and the message on their web site.
Is it Lord Worm? He didn't say no neither yes. But he told me that it will be announced tomorrow on their site.

So keep an eye on it.

It's fuckin great having him working there.... next time i'll go i'll bring my
Live Album for an autograph.

Before i was sure it was him he ask me "Can i help you ?" I was looking for
J. Yuenger solo album (former White Zombie's guitarist) and couldn't find it. After that i heard him discussing with another guy about Opeth's Blackwater Park.

Holy shit. I never thought this would happen, but wow. The next Cryptopsy CD is going to be killer.

According to an email sent from Cryptopsy's PR, the band will now begin recording their 6th album, 1st in 4 years. This will all be done with the now officially announced original vocalist, Lord Worm.

I don't understand why everyone like Lord Worm's vocals so
much,I prefer Di Salvo's vocals

The only problem I have with Lord Worm's vocals are the arangment that it is put into the music.

I took the train after work to get to my friend's house. I always take a seat in the very first wagon. Usually it takes about 1 hour to get there but there was signalisation problem, they had to stop it for a while.

I guy came from the back to ask to the operator what was happening.
He look at me and said. "Hey i've seen you a couple of time around my job
you're working downtown right?". I said yes. Then he asked me if i was into metal an if he can sit next to me an talk a bit. No prob dude i said.

Do you know Cryptopsy he asked. Hell yeah i know them. I was just about to say "Hey i saw Alex their guitarist saturday" but he said "I'm their drummer . Fuck !!! Flo Mounier was just next to me i didn't even recognize him I said Holy shit !!!! Then "hello 'Mr' Mounier".
He start laughing.... Anyway we talked for about half an hour about their next album, the return of Lord Worm the departure of the other singer and things like that. I gave him an Heineken and he gave me Drumsticks

Oh .... and they are supposed to release their next album around Suffocation's new album. So he said to expect a world tour with them....

Yeah Dimmu Borgir is fuckin great live. Tight as hell. It was the third time i see them and the best Dimmu show i saw.

But there's something i don't understand, they come from Northern europe, they cross the ocean they travel 2000 mile to play ONLY 1 FUCKIN HOUR!!!!!!!!!!
That piss me off . What would it be to play another 30 min?
