Warp 7 or randall, but the warp is better for downtunings.

dude, i played a crate with EMGs on my jackson before i bought it. It was shit. Marshalls kick ass, but for the money, you'll prolly wanna get a solid state, it'll be heaps cheaper. So go with the randall.

I tried the TSL and Jcm models and I think the distortion sucks.....
I tried the Crate Gx900h and it had WAY better distotion than the Marshalls..
Don't get me wrong the Lead Dist. on the AVT1500h is great for solos....
But I play rhythm guitar/2nd vocals in my band!

i played a full stack crate, the one with the head where you can see the actual tubes, im pretty sure thats the gx900 or whatever, and i couldn't even tell the difference between notes. It sounded like one huge blob of crap.

From my experiences i learned that the Crates have alot more gain, therefor making your distortion sound a bit muddy, i pick crate over marshall because that have the option of having more gain. And the crates have a way better clean to boot too.
ohh yah and theyre cheaper.

But I kinda preferr Randall than all the others that I have tested...
Look at DimeBag, he uses Randalls....Plus Randalls are great, the heads look
cool, and the sounds is great....But there are none in my current location

yeah, i hate that shit, i like to play through randall amps but i have to make a 2 hour drive out to a different store that i NEVER go to, just to play randalls. So i never really get to mess around with em. But maybe, just maybe, if i save up some money, maybe i'll buy a randall. And then i wont have to make that 2 hour drive, i'll just have one in my basement.
