dream signature guitars
If u had one chance to make a signature guitar for free and od anything to it what would u want??
i would want:
flying v
org. flyod rose
emg pickups(81 front 85 back)
boomer strings( 10's)
id want it black with a gold drawing of a dragon on it
and like the prs with the bird inlays id want dragons to go with the body
with dice for the volume and tone knobs
24 jumbo frets
mahogony wood neck&body
and the V would be in the shape of like kerry kings not like giboson style v's i dont like those as much
so think hard and come up with YOUR signature guitar

here we goes...
Les Paul style
24 Frets
Piezo bridge
Custom-selected HB's (just keep changing them in and out until I find a set I like...)
Choose between ruby red, some form of sunburst, black, or Reaper graphic as seen here: http://www.ibanezregister.com/image...r-002_small.jpg

a flying v also like kerry kings
floyd rose
the emg set (81 and 85) with 1 duncan single in the middle
D'addario 11's
a dark burgundy type red mahogony body with black outlining around it
3 dark grey volume knobs
both a toggle switch and a 5 way megaswitch (is that even possible? if so its going on mine, haha)
black mahogony kneck with 24 jumbo frets
dragon inlays like the prs guitar
the headstock would be like: http://www.espguitars.com/assets/images/h_202_a.jpg
(without the ltd of course)
yeah, very in detail, but hey, i wouldn't wanna go to a dealer and be like "oh, well, you decide". It would be me playing of course, not them. I'd prolly get esp to make it, they rock.

UPRIGHT PENTAGRAM INLAYS, VOLUME, AND TONE NOBS
DOUBLE LOCKING TREMOLO BRIDGE
EMG HUMBUCKERS
FERNANDEZ SUSTAIN SYSTEM
WIDOW HEAD STOCK (ALSO BLACK) BUT NO BC. RICH LOGO, JUST BLACK
AN UPRIGHT FLAMING PENTAGRAM (DM LOGO STYLE) SOMEWHERE ON THE BODY

why not go all out and just get that american handcrafted beast? Plus you could get some Koa wood and have some sweeeet tone.

yeah. Don't get me wrong, EMG's are nice pickups, but they're not the only pickups. Personally, I prefer passives.

My custom shop Dime stealth does it for me, I dont think i that id change anything about it, I like the fatter neck compared to the thin shredders necks and the passive Bill Lawrence and Seymour Duncan pickups are sweet as fuck.

The only EMG pickup ive played on was an EMG 81. Its in my parker right now and i personally think its a piece of shit. Its so thin its just brutal. And i dont really enjoy the tone, its so, boring. I just ordered a gibson p-90 and should have it installed as soon as it gets to me.
Ohh yah back to the topic. My guitar would basically be a parker fly single 2 with a p900 in the bridge.

Custom Ibanez S mahogany body in translucent black with a custom logo which i d randomly think of at the time of order
EMG's 81-bridge and 85-neck or SD invader-bridge and 59 neck
Original Floyd Bridge
3 way selector, 1 tone and a volume, with a boost
i'd have a real thin prestige neck with 25.5 scale, medium frets, with MORDOR written along the frets and a white binding.
Schaller tuners with a white binding on the head

EMG 85 in neck pos.

This is another guy's dream guitar having spent months planning with the lutheir to get it all exact as well as spending 3500 euro but, as you'd imagine, I would love to have a guitar similar to this.
36 six frets, fretless 7th string and apparently perpetuating sustain.

i would want an ibanez RG 7 srtring neck through
full body binding
same goes for the neck and headstock
the fret markers would be inlayed ( 1 3 5 7 9 ) with levaithan in hebrew (one character for each fret marker)
a baphomet inlaid surrounding the 12th fret,
and the 24th fret would say hail satan
it would be a satin black finish with matching headstock, and the part of the neck that goes through the body would have satin red binding(?) and it too would of course be black.
hardware, it would have satin black hard ware. and an ibanez edge pro II bridge ( because those mother fuckers stay in tune!) and of course the flat black knobs. the strap pins would be dunlop strap locks.
the wood, i dont really care about, just no ply wood.
wizard neck
electronics.. it would have two EMG 85's (bridge and neck) and an EMG s in the middle position.
it would also have an emg after burner, gain system.

Actually, I wouldn't mind a B.C.Rich Widow. Black, but with an extra tone knob on it. Emg 81's on there , with quadruple pickups...
Other than that, I don't have any dream guitars in mind..
Though, a guitar made with a vampire shape would be fuckin cool..

He had 36 frets so he could be the first to record the whole of Vivaldi's Four Seasons on guitar. A few weeks after he got the guitar, another guitarist with a 36 fretted guitar released it though, which he was obviously very pissed off about.
I'll quote him about the endless sustain.
"the sustain is INHUMAN! - we tested it - you can do a virtually endless tone! just turn the amp up to a certain degree and the guitar picks up the vibes and the tone last forever - and its NOT a feedback! the guitar has overtones on spots where i have never been able to produce overtones on any other guitar. even the last 36th fret does sound great! "
He's Azrael by the way.

A BC Rich body.--BEAST
Have Jackson make it though, so it won't suck as much.
Since I dont like EMGs, I'd have Seymour Duncan Invaders or something like that.
Floyd Rose Tremelo.
Neck Thru.
Some kick ass paint job.
And the shark fin inlays.
Thats my guitar that i want

dream guitar
my dream guitar:
Jackson Kelly styling...made by Ibanez though...i like the quality of their guitars.
25.5" scale
neck-through body construction
Zero Resistance Tremelo system (maybe original FR or just string-through)
Ash body
curly maple top
24 frets
Ebony fingerboard (man, it's rare to find some guitar with this these days)
and Inlays that look like the sound wave thingies
and a nice transparent green finish
yeah, and 2 custom humbuckers
the one at the neck would have a nice smooth sound with tons of sustain (maybe seymour duncan '59), but absolutely clean, and the bridge would be a humbucker with a high output, searing sound with a slight bit of crunch and a lot of sustain, but not as much as the neck humbucker (not really, but maybe EMG 85)

Signiture Eh?
Well, just for the record
Ibanez RG 8-string model Neck-thru
Floyd Rose Trem System
Bosswood Body
Metallic white finish
Rosewood Fret Board
Excallibur inlay from 3rd fret to 24th
upside down head
Black ibanez Logo
Black Machine Heads
Custem 808 Emg Humbuckers
allways wanted one like that, the 8th would be above the 7th and the entire guitar would be dropped 1/2 a step just for that power metal edge, maybe a beverage holder to hold my beer as well on the body heh heh

Gibson Les Paul. Black. Silver everything else... Maybe inverted cross, iron cross, sunwheel inlays or something... Wow, I've never really thought about that before... We are talking about if we wanted to make our own signature model, right? Sorry, I'm a bit tired right now...

jackson or a BC Rich V, or just a regular 'strat' shaped guitar, Duncan Humbuckers, 24 frets, string through body since I dont use the trem, no inlays or binding, all black including hardware, or really dark blue w/ black hardware, neck through body, oh oh !!! sustainer humbucker that fernandes makes , umm... thats about it. It would be sweet.
A plain ol 7 string would be nice, just something to experiment on.

I have two:
Ibanez Custom (RG):
Mahogany body
Wizard II neck (higher quality, though)
Ebony fretboard
Custom Inlays (Diamond with Advent at 12th)
Dimarzio Pickups (Same ones I have now)
Black body with white binding around the edges
Jackson (Soloist body):
Backwards headstock (Not the normal soloist head)
Mahogany body and neck
Ebony fretboard
Custom Inlays (Diamond with Advent at 12th)
EMG 81 and 85 pickups
Black with white binding on the sides
\m/ I would drool over either of those. You could also substitute the Soloist body for a RR 1. *drools more*

Hmmm... - Dean ML body. (Or maybe Washburn's take on it? Or maybe even that pointier-than-thou Kramer take on it from the 80s? Or is that too déclassé? Anyways, all variations on a theme.) As close as it's possible to get to Gibson's Voodoo color scheme without any infringements.
- 24-fret ebony neck with biohazard inlays.
- Yamaha-style knobs. Maybe an adapted Jimmy Page mod; something would have to be dropped, not that I mind overly much; I don't see myself needing to coil-tap very much anyways...
- Buzz Feiten tuning system, and
- an absurdly high-ratio set of tuning heads. (I'm anal about this.)
- No EMG 81/85 set.
- Perhaps an offhand locking tremolo - not out of fandom, simply because I don't divebomb so much as stutter with it.
- ...and now for something completely different: All the metallic parts are coppered - pickup covers, tuning heads, locking trem, fretboard inlays, what have you. Maybe even the nut. (A bronze nut; rare but not unheard of.)
- ...oh yeah, as to the actual pickups: I'm not totally sure yet. Possibly a bridge Dimebucker or something equivalent; probably a neck Tony Iommi humbucker or something similar, just for the versatility, although the cover would have to be coppertoned along with the rest of the metallic parts and maybe spaced for the Floyd... ah, hell.
Anyways. 'nuff said.

Ibanez RG body & head. Mohagany body, ebony fretboard w/ 24 jumbo frets. Black Pearl body & head (for color reference, check out the RG 42bp. Beautiful color),Cream binding around entire guitar.
Fretboard with "~" at every fret except 12, where "ADVENT" shall be inprinted in abalone. Dimarzio Steve Special, Tone Zone, and some other single coil for pickups. REAL Floyd Rose bridge. 5 way selector, and "Advent" whored onto Volume knob.
Oh yeah... that sounds nice.

black jackson shaped headstock
canadian flag 12th inlay and my name at the 24th
