take your whammy bar(if u got one) and make it go towards the neck in a downwards motion after you strike a note. dont do it like insanly fast or anything a slow one or medium speed should make it sound like the note is "diving"

if you heard it from dimebag from pantera, and your trying to do it like that, then you'll need to get yourself a whammy pedal.

do it like Piper5150 explained with a natural harmonic instead of a simple picked note. also take a look at www.guitartricks.com and search for "dive bomb". some good example.

I pick Harmonics on the desired string/fret (usually 3, 5, 7 and 12), then very quickly push the whammy bar in (strings lose) and all the way back out (strings tight). From here the guitar is screaming, I begin to descend slowly all the way down (strings lose) to complete a true dive bomb. It should sound like two notes though you pick it once. This can also be done with picked notes and intervals. Best suited for a Floyd Rose tremelo or alike.

A cool way to do it is to pull the whammy up before descending. Gives this real growl sound to it.

Just mess around with it, i think thats really the best way of learning. Make sure your locking nut is done up super tight though, otherwise you're gonna be going outa tune every time you use it.

Ninnghizhidda is actually a Mesopatamian mythological character/god, doesn't come only from a Nile song. Hell, go listen to that old-ass Morbid Angel song "Lord of All Fevers and Plague".

I taught myself how to do fun harmonic shit. Just pick any natural harm then fuck with your whammy while muting other strings. Also flick the low e with your thumb and then dive slowly, while muting other strings. Another fun thing is to do some really fast trilling while doing pulloffs/ons and whacking your whammy bar like crazy.
