Children of Bodom, do they redeem themselves with their new album?
I have just recently heard the new children of bodom album, hatecrew death toll, on kazaa and i personally find it kicks ass. They seem to have experimented a tiny bit more by adding more keyboards and a few progressive elements that make it sound fucking awesome, also Alexi seems to finally learned to sing good.
Anyways if anyone else has heard it i would like to know what they think!!!!

I've heard that it is more progressive than before, but I've only heard the single.
It probably kicks ass, if we judge by the cover.

I downloaded Needled 24/7 (wich I also heard at the Dynamo Festival 2002) and it kicks ass!!!! although they use a lot of old elements, download the song and judge for yourself....

I donwloaded more of it, and have to say that I don´t like what Alexi does with his voice now and then (the real high scream), and I find the titles weird (Bodom Beach Terror, that sounds like a grindcore song!)

Got most of it off Kazaa - it's not available to buy in Australia yet. It's pretty fucking good, even for them.

Allthough I almost think they sometimes sound nu-metallish, like in the first riff of Sixpounder (thats not pleasing any Bodom fan). And the titles are gay.... Everything else is great, Especially Needled and Angels Don´t Kill!

Yea, Ive been really confused for some time now... I had a high fever and so on... But it was me who saw them if ya didnt figure it out yet
Well, to stay in the topic, Ive been listening this new Hate Crew Deathroll for a while now and I like it veeeery much! Its bit different from the ones before it but in a good way... It really kicks ass!

anyways the new album is alot better as i found follow the reaper was pretty bad.
the biggest difference would have to be the rythm section as their drummer(i forget his name) is doing his best job yet. |
