Andromeda
These guys are from sweeden, and just released possibly the best progressive metal album of 2002. Anybody heard of them? Cool songs to download (If u can find them) :

Their newest album is supposed to be released in America this month....it's already out in Japan and England I believe.

i have a song called starshooter supreme by andromeda and that sounds nothing like the songs on the link, i like mine much more. It has rather chaotic synthesizer and guitar parts and almost KMFDM like vocals. Is this maybe one of their older songs or are there maybe two different bands called andromeda?

There are indeed 2 different bands named Andromeda, but I think starshooter supreme has 2 different versions.

I have owned the first andromeda album, "Extension of the wish" since it first came out in 1999 (i think) and it has been my favorite album in my whole collection of hundreds of metal cds since. The vox took me a while to get used to, knowing that it was the old darkane singer, it was a big leap but now I absolutely love them. The new cd (II=I) has a new replacement singer (david fremberg). I havent seen this album yet to buy it tho  As soon as I do it will be going straight besides their first cd tho!! It is the most amazing music I have heard in my life

Yeah it's coming out sometime this year, but it's possible you wont see it. If you don't then just order it.

Oh yea I forgot to say in my last post, when they first got the new singer they re-recorded the first album with the new singer (and added 2 extra songs) and released it in one country only as far as i can remember (dunno where tho sorry). That would explain the different versions of the songs on the first album
