amp settings

I just got a new crate amp today. i was wondering if anyone else has a crate and what are some good eq settings for amp dist. it's a gx 212.

on the overdrive channel the eq knobs i have are gain 1, gain 2, shape, low, high , and level,

dont kno wat to tell u becasuse i have a valve amp and only like 3 knobs lol but wat i do is a mid-sweep(its wat some heavy metal bands use)
its where u crank the highs and the lows and turn the mids off im not shure wat your settings mean like shape and gain1 and gain2 i think those are like preamp and postamp but anyway keep the mid sweep in mind
