Thanks to my slavonic cousins russians new Behemoth leaked out. And quite suprisingly it's really good album. Less Nile influence, more atmosphere and character in this one. I strongly recommend it. They might loose few 15 years old fans now

Did they ditch crapsongs like almost the entire Demigod-album and Prometherion?

I HATED Demigod, cause, you know, it wasn't good (fact), but The Apostasy had some really good shit, especially liked the time they put into the leads and stuff. To me it's still not THelema .6-level, but it was enjoyable enough.

Haha, SOMEONE has been listening to Funeral Mist I'd say. Anyway, production is kinda lame I think, but at least the bass has some presence now. Vocals are a bit dull, still. Everything is a bit too much "one" track soundwise, nothing stands out enough. Enjoyable songs up until now though.

Another black metal let down. I didn't like their last album and this one doesn't sound much better.

It's more death metal I thought, but that's irrelevant.

Well it's not as offensively shite as Demigod was, but that's about it really.

LIstened to it a couple of times now, and except for "oFFFFFFFF Fire and the Void", I can barely recall anything from the entire album.
In fact I heard that oFFFFFFF Fire and the Void-song on their myspace at first and thought, wow, this is as unremarkable as the new Deströyer 666 which is very unremarkable.

Turns out that was the most intresting (COUGH) song on the album.

But perhaps it's a grower. Perhaps I'm missing something. I honestly hoped for something relatively good cause The Apostasy had some decent tracks, but I'm afraid this is not it.

Of Fire and Void is a badass song, though i'm still not completely sold on the vocals. I haven't liked them for the last few albums. That's cool that they wrote a song in Polish, I look forward to hearing that one

Not to shabby of an album. Better than the previous one I think. It gets a little dull which makes me want to listening to another album after 3 or 4 songs. The first song I really like the chorus.

It's not bad. When you see them play live, you get a whole new respect for them. Since then I've been much more into it.
