Good, Cheap Guitar
I WANT TO BUY A GOOD GUITAR BUT I HAVE A TIGHT BUDGET ($250 MAX). DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD GUITAR THAT I SHOULD CHECK OUT?

This calls for two words. PAWN SHOP. No, but seriously - here are afew I came up w/ although Im not sure about the price tags.
like Ibanez? A cheaper version is a brand called X-cort. These people make Ibanez but they are cheaper - Ibanez only costs more because of the name on it.(with exceptions). Fender? Get a squier. Cheaper - Im not sure if they're any good but eh.
But of course you can always get a good ole trusty acoustic. Takamine makes some nice acoustics under 250$. If I was you I'd look for some of the less known brands caz they usually cost less.

go second hand stuff... look for a 'maverick F-1' if possible, should be around 250 second hand, though i think its mainly UK guitar
they atre liek jackson and ibanez, IMO play better than the ibanez RG's and sound better for metal...
whatever though, i advise to go for one with a humbuckin bridge pickup unless your after the other tones from single coils

look for some with just a humbucking bridge but ya kno i dont think you got much of a choice i think your best bet is save up because shitty guitars arnt fun to play on lol

Pawn Shops are a good way to go...my first guitar was a Hondu-H77 for $25...and no im not forgeting the 0 after 25...It was a piece of shit but i bought a screamin demon humbucker for the bridge and i put a hot rail on it and it still sounded like shit....so, save up your 250 and buy something worthy of playing  |

YEAH, YOU GUYS HAVE GIVEN ME GREAT TIPS. I REALLY LIKE SOME OF THE X-CORTS I'VE SEEN AND THE MAVERICK IS GREAT BUT I DON'T THINK I CAN GET IT HERE. MY FIRST GUITAR COST ME $65, IT WAS A MONTEREY FERNANDEZ WITHOUT THE SUSTAINER. IT ACTUALLY SOUNDED PRETTY GOOD. BUT ANYWAY MY BUDGET HAS GROWN (HAIL XXX-MAS  ) NOW I HAVE $360. SO FAR I'M LEANING TOWARDS A JACKSON WARRIOR. I MIGHT TRY TO FIND ONE ONLINE BUT IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY OTHER TIPS OR OPINIONS I WELCOME THEM. THANKS \m/
