Question....
alright...I downloaded "Well of Souls" by The Haunted like, a month ago, and I read somewhere that it was a Candlemass cover, and me not knowing alot about Candlemass, didn't know if that was true. but thats not my question. my question deals with the song itself. at the end of the song The Haunted play part of "Angel of Death" except the lyrics are "Infamous, Butcher, Well of Souls." The today I just downloaded "Unas Slayer of the Gods" by Nile, whose cd I'm going to buy tomorrow, just because that song is so goddamn cool (and the fact that I love Egypt...) But the very first acoustic riff in "Unas..." sounds exactly like the first riff in "Well of Souls", only in a different tuning. My question is (finally): Is "Well of Souls" a Candlemass song, a Haunted song or someone else's. And was that opening riff written by Nile, The Haunted, or Candlemass?

Unas, The Slayer of Gods is on Nile's newest album that came out this year so I would doubt they wrote it first if it was stolen but I doubt that they stole a riff from anyone.. and yes Go buy the CD its amazing!

Well of Souls Is from Candlemass.
And yes Unas,Slayer Of The Gods is Influensed By it
Sanders himself said so and also that he is a big fan of Candlemass
