Question Help me build a good guitar rig.

Well i have had a hard time building a good guitar rig. I just canīt find any good pedals or just donīt know what amp to use so i hoped you guys here at the forum could help me.

The sound i am looking for is something that sounds like the guitar sound on Metllicas album ...And Justice for All but a little "fater" sound.

Thanks in advance. and sorry if my grammar sucks.

an old ADA MP-1 preamp with a VHT power amp would get you pretty damn close I'd say, i went the ada route for a bit and it sounds damn good, very original tone

I have an MP-1 right now that I use with a Peavey 60/60 Classic Poweramp. It sounds pretty damn good, and total, with the cabinet (old Blue Voodoo cab) only cost me like 400 bucks. I also have a Carvin Legacy with V30s in it, but for some reason the Crate sounds MUCH better. Overall I am pretty upset with V30s, they do not live up to their reputation at all. Just keep that in mind, don't get V30s if you have an MP-1.
