What strings eactly did Dimebag use?
did he really use the dr strings in his name? if so which ones?

I think he used DR pure blues. Not totally sure what size, prob at least a 10 more likely heavier.... I know I read it once in Guitar World's tribute to him where they interviewed his guitar tech, but I can't remember.

He used to use la bella strings, then started using DR. I don't know what kind of DR he used before he got his own signature strings, but I do know he used his signature strings...he had a shitload of different gauges for different tunings he used.

They use Ernie Ball strings but i'm not sure of the gauge, they don't play very heavy or downtune so I'd say 10 guage
I myself use ernie ball heavy top slinky bottom, which is 9 to 52 they're awesome
