I read on a different forum a few months ago that Brian Eschbach left TBDM mid tour. Can't seem to find any other info on it. Anyone have any details?

I had heard it was the other guy John that left. Guitar player from Arsis is going to play with them.

Hmm, did he write a lot of the music? If so, that really sucks, I don't want their style to drastically change in any new releases. Guess we'll wait and see.

This band has had so many problems retaining bassists and drummers over the years, it sounds like a shitty situation to be in. I'm pretty sure both Brian and John wrote their share of the music. At least they got a guitarist from a pretty guitar demanding band like Arsis, maybe we'll see some good solos on the next album.

It was John who left the band.He was responsible for about 75% of all the music and 100% of the solos

So wow, that sucks. Didn't care for his solos but his songwriting was top notch. Seriously, how many awesome triplet riffs can one fucker write?

Oh well, here's to hoping the next album won't suck.
