i have a les paul custom i love it great sound i personlly think it sounds better than the gibsons ive played
mine was around 600 american

I got an Epiphone LP 100 Gothic.......i'm CANADIAN so it cost me about 550$ CANADIAN. Just bought it this christmas......it's fucking amazing. Get one.

i say get a epi gothic explorer also and fix it up, it should be somewhere from 500-800 american.

When I bought my Gibson SG Gothic I played an Epiphone and it didn't have the same sound as the Gibson.. My Gibson if compared to any sound I guess would be for doom metal.. it's very black sabbathish.. If you're into doom metal at all get the gibson it's extremely dark sounding guitar.. and got a hell of alot better when I changed out my bridge pickup with a 500T.. But like I said the epiphone wasn't as lively as the Gibson i guess.. didn't have the warmth or the bite.. play them back to back..

Im not a les paul type of person too much...epiphone guitars are overratted for the most part in my opinion but once you get into the very high priced range they are ok...the sg is a good guitar..nice meaty sound with it and with the perfect amp it does wonders

im not sure if i know what guitar your all talking about.... if anyone has seen the guitar Gian from cradle of filth plays on the heavy left handed and candid DVD, thats the one i think your talking about. i want one.
