yes u can do it with a tuner or if ur ears are good u can frett 4th fret on low e then match it with the open A then use natural harmonics to tune everthing of the A string rather simple really hope u get it

well..when i want to tune my stings differently the standard, i suggest you set the neck to that tuning so ya don't fuck up your tone, i remember my early guitar playin' days and i'd do drop D sometimes for the hell of it and it fucked up the tone after awhile, then i got a guitar i got the neck set for every string to be a whole step down , and the tone is awesome and has never failed me

YEAH, TONE IS IMPORTANT. BUT I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE NECK ON MY GUITAR BECAUSE IS IS A CUSTOM JOB. I USUALLY TUNE TO C# BUT IN A LOT OF SLAYER TABS I SEE THAT THEY TUNE TO Eb AND I LIKE THEIR SOUND, THAT'S WHY I WANTED TO NOW HOW TO TUNE MY GUITAR THAT WAY.

Can you tune to Eb with a tuner then? Because I dont know if you can I never tried and I dont have a chromatic tuner thing with me it's at my friends. Right now I have the one with the little needle and thats it, it's lie the old kind of tuner and it is old like 10 years old maybe more.

oh srry bout not explaining it then see my tuner does not have just the notes fro standerd tunning its one that can be used for any stringed intstrument so it has all the notes it has a sucktion cup type thing on the back of it that you stick on near your pickups then u just pick a string(fretted or open) and it will tell you the note it is in so it is very easy to drop down if you dont know how to do it anyother way or if ur want it down fast and or to lazy to do it by ear

Hey guitar_demon, what is that tuner that you have called, and how much is it. Because I want to buy something like that where it will have the notes on it liek digital and you can tune it to Eb without having to know how it sounds.

its a SR-600 Matrix chromatic tuner its was about 20 bucks ( i belive it was like $19.99 or some shit like that) it is pretty sweet though it will tell you how shapr or falt a note is and if u accedently leave it on after three minuets of not being used it will turn itself off well hope you can find it at your local staore or whereever it is u shop
