i just recentaly got a boss metalzone pedal and im not so shure bout the settings i want a really deep metal tone with good highs and lows but not so shure how to get that out of the pedal eq i get a really really REALLY deep low sound that kinda muffles the highs any help? or just post your settings wat u use to get a good sound peace out

-Bass:75%
-High:60%
-Middle Freq:49%
-Middle:50%
-Dist:60%

Also heres a good one;
-Everything at 50% and
the distortion at 75%

and also put every setting on 50%
and it will sound great

used by my punk friend which actually does give a

PUNK (Middle Freq:0% Middle:40%)

but thanx for the posts im still kinda fiddeling with it i think my problem is the amp settings is messing with the eq on the pedal so i might wanna buy a eq pedal

my amp settings: low=100 mid=0 high=100 dist=100(mid sweep)
metalzone :low=100 high=100 mid=100 mid freq=5 dist.=100

and wat it sounds like is like i said early alil to much gain so i took soem gain out of the amp and that helped alot but i want my highs to be higher but o well

also this is going to sound really stupid but do u run the metal zone through your dist. channal or your clean chan. im really confused with this thing lol

you want your amp to be set to a clean channel when you're running pedals. and also try turning the "high" on you amp down a bit. some people don't run any mids. either, you may want to try that to.

i just bought a boss metal zone mt-2 off of ebay for $66 new and i'm so happy, it hasn't arrived yet but i wanna use it realllly bad.

This is the setting i use: high and low at 53%, mid at 25%, mid frequency at 35% and distortion and level all the way up...whether or not that tone sounds good really depends on the type of amp you are using though b/c its going to sound different through different amps. Hope that was helpful..
