Yeah he probably meant snowbound.. but I don't think that's a very technical song.. Other Arch Enemy tends to be a little more technical than Snowbound..

Children of Bodom, Dark Tranquility, and Kalmah are mentioned and are great melodic death metal bands! the EVIL IN YOU  by Kalmah rules! i would recommend Garden Of Shadows, Dimension Zero, and definately the new Kataklysm from their cd Shadows and Dust! Brutal death metal in combination with melodic riffs, doesn't get any better!!!! Even Opeth has some melodic songs much like Snowbound by Arch Enemy too. |

alrighty, yeah when someone says melodic death metal i think of some of the newer 90s black metal bands. anyways here in Denver we have/had a local band called serberus i wish they would have stuck together, if they would have the would have been going places! just go to mp3.com and search for serberus....dude they fucking tear shit up!!
