transcribing or something... 7strings to 6strings
I wasn't sure where to post this...but, I was wondering if there was a way to change a 7string guitar part into a 6string guitar part, if you know what I mean. Because I have the tab to the Dream Theater song Glass Prison, which uses a 7stringed guitar, which I don't have- only a 6string. Is there anyway to do this? Any, uh... help would be nice. Thanks.

well if they dont use the low b or the high e string, then you can cut that off completey.

I believe the song does use all the strings. Yeah. I could buy a 7stringed guitar, but I'm currently abit uh...poor. Thanks anyways...

it'll be hard becuase they probably wrote the riffs so that they stay in the same position. but maybe move the high e notes onto the high b string.
