Botch, Isis, Converge?
I Really like these bands however it's hard to find bands similar since they define their sound so well... i'm wondering are these bands the best of their genre?
Please Shed Some Oppinion.

Weeell I got Panopticon by Isis, and as far as I know it's heralded as one of the genre's classics, but hmmm.
It's a good CD though, but meh.

Mouth Of The Architect is better than Isis.
Coalesce is better than Converge.

You know, tides is from Prov and I never seen them live.
I always miss their shows, hell, I even was in a band and played a show with them a while back but had to leave early and miss their set.
Anyway, Tides is a ripping band. good drummer. They seem to tour alot and are worth checking out when/if they roll into your town.

Check out Capricorns.
It would be wrong to omit such a ubiquitous band as Dillinger Escape Plan from this thread, particularly if the poster is looking for similar bands to Botch.
