Stratocaster Identification
Hey guys, I've got a guy that wants to sell this late 70's early 80's strat. I've never seen a damned thing like it before and wondered if any of you have. The bridge is very odd, and it appears to have some crackling of the finish, whether or not this is factory or if its all fucked up i don't know.

Dunno but I think he customized it..... Could be Custom Shop..

He's looking below $200 at this point. I don't know what in the hell it is though.

Wooo....probably you can have for short and show it to your local guitar dealer.....Could be possible that he knows some facts about it

It's not a custom. My friend has one exactly like it. It's a 80's model. Made in Japan. One of the few strats they made with Fender licensed trems. Weird pickup config though... my buddies is S-S-S I believe.

No idea of retail or current market price. The guy I know wants like $500 for his, but it's completely mint all original parts.

that one's gonna go WAY down anyways...take a look at the bridge....


it only has five string saddles.
