Post What Kind of Amp????

What kind of amp should I get, is a mesaboogie amp pretty good or what what. i want to get an ok amp but not too expensive someting under $550.

I get the Musicians Friend cataloge, but I never see any Mesa Boogie amps in it or I dont remember seeing any and I have the cataloge on my desk right now too.

I guess they don't carry Mesa Boogie products, because hardly anything came up when I searched at the site just now...

Lol ok then, it's cool. I went to MesaBoogie.com but they dont show their prices on anyhting. ( well not from what I saw they didn't.)

Most sites like that don't have prices, I don't think Gibson's site or Ibanez's site have prices either...but they usually have links to dealer's sites, and you can find prices at some of them.

Alright yeah man thanx alot, that Mesa Boogie site had osme dealers thing on it I remmeber because I checked it out about an hour ago. Ill check it out again toamrrow when I have more tim, because I'm too buisy reading Guitar World and looking at the forums on here lol. Thanx Again! Hail!!!

I thought Mesa's were like expensive as all hell.. the one that i've seen was a 50 watt and it was like 600 bucks and that was all tore up

i've got a warp7 (hughes and kettner) it's not expensive and it makes a lot of noise!

thats what i thoght too under 550 bucks huh maybe you should check out those line-6 amps or the spider amps there pretty decent and if u get a really good line-6 u can just mimick the messa bogie sound i know its not quit the same but its still pretty close plus u also have the option of mimicking other amps like marchalls or fender ect

if u go to some of the artist sites that u kno sometimes they have gear pages and on some of them they have them linking to dealer pages or other gear sites so if u kno a band that uses mesa or summitn u want cheack there

Yeah, well I think I'm going to get this Marshall Half Stack, its the MG100hdfx and MG412 Slant Cab Package on www.musiciansfrined.com It's pretty sweet, but alot of money its around 750 but it's a really good deal. Hopefully if I put some money into it i can get one for christmas, but I dont know if not then I dont know what i'll get. Hail!!!

dude i would greatly reccomend you buy either a Kustom or a Rebel perferibly a Kustom, though rebel has a discount in musicians friend for a 20x50 concert amp i think for like 200-300 but Kustom has the best quality
