i know many, i only have time to post one at mo soz:
ascend up then descend down a scale at 16ths on one string
like this for e minor (0" = 3 opens)
E-2-0"-3-0"-5-0"-7-0"-8-0"-10-0"-12-0"
etc etc
use a metronome
ill post more later but i gotta bail

practice songs with tremolo picking, but be sure all notes are clear and equal lenght
do scales (any, from minor to minor, including chromatic scales) in tremollo like:
3333444455556666 etc (on all strings
i have more exercices i'll post latter

Blessed Are the Sick by Morbid Angel is pretty helpful, at least the intro part, especially the very beginning, and then the low PMed notes shortly afterward.
I'm sure that's confusing, but if you listen to the song, then I think you'll know what I'm talking about.

there's no alternate picking in master of puppets.
well, in the solo of course, but in rythm guitar its only downpick (and its painfull to play at full speed, but I like pain:P)

Ive got tons of lessons done on alternate picking for a not yet opened guitar site which hopefully will be up soon, anyway if you guys want i can post them one at a time in this or a totally new thread? The reason Im asking is I dont wanna go and spam the board with loadsa exercises and posts if
a - its no use to any one
b - its not allowed
c - theres loadsa midi files to go with them will attaching them waste space etc.....?
BTW most of them were shown to me and thanks to them I can pretty much pick any Yngwie etc.... with ease.

The way that I got really precise at alternate picking was scales and arpeggios.. alternate pick them with a metronome. you HAVE to use a metronome it changes everything.. they're like 10 bucks.. so don't say you can't afford one. play the scales ascending and descending with no stopping and alternate picking the whole time. make sure and keep your hand in the right position.. don't let it float... If I wasn't deathly afraid of tabbing something i'd tab out A minor or something else. eh shit.. i'll just try it..

That is the natural form of A minor.. Play this using the fingering which I posted and play it ascending and descending with alternate picking over and over and over with a metronome. go all the way up to 200bpm. .then go back to 101 and play it with 2 notes per click.. and keep going... but make sure you play the notes clearly and hold them for the duration of the click. I have alot more if anyone wants me to post them.. they're pretty text book though..

now, i want to buy a new guitar... but i don't know what model... i want to spend 600 or 1000 euros, i don't know...
(anyway i think that a good exercise for left hand, could be 'picking always down, with the metronome, then, you develop your speed, and you begin also to do always in a string, up, up, up , up etc with the plettre. you begin in low speed to arrive to a fast speed. when you developped these exercises you CAN really begin to do 'UP.down,UP,down ETC. ... what do you think of this opinion???? ) please answer

for tremelo play lots of deicide..........and for multiple string fingering i shit you not play some nu. you dont gotta like it but its good practice. ive also heard of people wearing ruber bands when they play to strenghten the muscles, and at night to streach them.

i think you put the rubber band around the 4 fingers at the lowest joint. so when you stretch them apart, its harder. also that way, it doesnt affect the sound since the rubber band isnt in the way.

i dont know how many people do this but my cousin ties the bands to his finger and the other end to his wrist. then if he has to move his hand hes gotta make a fist pretty hard. seems to work. and what that guy said ^^^^^works really well too
