what pickups do you guys use?
hiya
in my maverick F-1, the pickups have already lost their magnetism, and been fixed.
it seems to be happening again... so im after a new bridge pickup
as you may guess im into metal
anyone have any suggestions for some good pickups? i only really use the bridge
distortion is a must, and it takes a humbucker
i dont know whethers theres enough internal room for an active system, but please suggest active ones aswell
thanks! if poss, provide prices aswell
cheers!

I Have seymour Duncan George Lynch Screamin Demons on my bridge
for my ibanez and Seymour duncan Hot Rails on the middle and neck positions
for my ibanez......
And for my BC RIch NJ Bich, I have EMG 81's.......
But I preffer my Ibanez better than my BC RICH cuz my Ibanez has a comfy neck
and I use it for solo's......My BC Rich is ok but its too heavy when I'm gigin'.

since I've gotten my gibson I love the sound of their pickups.. I'm changing the neck pickup in my SG to a 500T and my strat copy i'm converting from triple coils to an EMG 81 and 85.. But now i'm thinking about not using the 85 and going with like a 490R alinco or another rythym pickup.. Anyone know what it sounds like to just go with 2 lead pickups?

I was going to list you as the masked avatar hoster.. BUT .. I wasn't sure if you wanted 30 metaltabbers asking you to host avatars for them..haha But yes my friend DEF the beast did host it for me.. he deserves all the credit for using school bandwith haha

Nobody answered my question.. does no one know or did no one notice it? I was just wondering what it sounds like to go with 2 lead pickups? I figured it might sound kind of interesting during solo's because I could switch between the two and get two different sounds.. But I don't know what it would sound like with both of them going at once.. Anyone ever heard a guitar with 2 leads?

In the Warlock, I have a Di Marzio Tone Zone in the bridge and a Di Marzio Air Norton in the neck. In the Warrior I have EMG 81's.
