I've heard War of Attrition, and from what I've heard it's about as over the top as Mechanics of Destruction. Beneath the Massacre should have stuck to what they were doing in 'Evidence of Inequity'. I don't know much about Dying Fetus outside of War of Attrition.

I like both bands though.

On that note, Psycroptic's new album is some what of a letdown. It's trying too hard to be catchy.

I've been listening to Dying Fetus for about 10 years now so I can tell you this: DF is much more entertaining and fun. BTM to me is just a bunch of soulless widdly widdly wanking. I'd rather get in a circle pit during a DF gig than standing through a BTM gig watching scenesters make asses of themselves. Moments like that make me pray for a suicide bomber.

veil of maya sucked, beneath the massacre suck but dont tell the vocalist i thought that, dying fetus were fine, im glad they hada short set, necro were a hundred times better than i expected. id heard their setlist this tour sucked, but it didnt. they played extreme unction (!!!!!!!), foul body autopsy, TO BREATH IN A CASKET!!!, fermented offal, then all the best songs off epitaph minus symbiotic. great, great show. plus it was over at like 1045! none of that 7 scenecore band opening lineup stuff.

Okay, has anybody tried those 5 Hour Energy drink things? Did you like them?

I drank almost a full one today and felt light-headed and out of breath

However, at a dose of less than half of one it works very well with almost no side-effects. The one problem that I experienced was that for the first hour I was a little shakey and super-tired, but then after that I was very alert/awake for... well 5 hours, actually.

A batchelor degree in HRM and I'm almost done with my master of science degree in the field of S(trategic)HRM.

The job I have now is mostly research, things like employee commitment, benefits, performance, satisfaction, etc. But it also includes the more operative things like doing intake interviews and such. It's a real multi-competence job and it looks nice on my resume. The earnings are also pretty awesome for a student, one of the benefits of beeing a corporate whore

Yup, two year ago before I got my bachelor degree. I worked as HR support for about a year. Which was basicaly doing intake interviews and a lot of other HRM related stuff.

It's an interesting field but only if you can play with the big dogs. Which means you'll need at least a masters degree to tag along. That's where the money is at. The advisory trajectory makes good money but it turns you into the guy guy that gives a company the chance to lay off a lot of people because of your advice. That sounds wrong but in some cases new PMC's (product-market-combinations) can send a company into the future with the right structure.

It's difficult though, it's easy to be dragged along with the big money, people paying for advice because they've got a feeling they should have been changing operations two years ago. These kind of operations will make you stand out like the boogey-man. (a management puppet) It's not an easy job but if you do it right there is a lot of money to be made.

In the HR practise it is very complicated and it has a lot of bastards running around which do not promote the field in a positive way. But the HR field is in need of real professionals right now and that's a gap that needs to be filled. In the last 10-20 years the education in this field has not been up to speed but in the past few years it's become an important part of the industry, thus people have invested in research and education. Whenever the economy is doing great or doing terrible, they always need HR staff.

The job perspective is great over here but there is a major pitfall, which I described above. This is what seperates the good from the bad...
