The Monolith Deathcult
Holy shit, this is death metal I actually like! "Techno-influenced" death metal even, but that label isn't all that accurate. Everything is seemlessly integrated, and the lyrics are outstānding at times.

The riffs on themselves aren't always that spectacular, but with this band it's the sum of its parts that counts, really. Other riffs would get in conflict with the rest of the music.
