hmm, i'm not sure what to think about this. it doesn't sound so much different than with odin on our side, yet the guitar parts don't sound very unique on that song. i mean, people start comparing amon amarth to blind guardian it seems  i hope they don't seriously turn away from the death metal parts and start doing power metal 
but we'll see - i'm definately looking forward to hear the new album (though this comic promotion thing was just ridiculous)

honestly, im liking "With Odin..." more. even though this new one was written just after the time frame of With Odin... to me, this doesnt sound as impacting as tracks like Valhall awaits me, Runes to my memory, Hermod's ride to hel, and Cry of the blackbirds. damn.

But... but... this is new for Amon Amarth! 
The album is alright, some decent tunes on it but I get the feeling that I've heard this all before. Their sound has just grown old and tired on me. Production is great though, better than on the last 2 albums.
