what are some good warmups to do before screaming

Before I do screaming, I use warm ups off of the Zen of Screaming DVD. I think they are just basic singing warm ups that help broaden vocal range. Also, I have heard that humming can help warm up the vocal cords.

I was going to say humming as well....just to kind of get blood flowing to the vocal chords...I don't know about all the vocal range stuff though...I mean if you're going to be doing brutal vocals or whatever..I usually just run through some stuff and gradually add power....then again I'm probably fucking my throat up

i used to have to warm up, now i jjust go through my range once or twice and go at it.

I don't open my mouth without Cross' warmups. You get those with her DVD.
DVDs (both of them) are totally useless unless you're a screamer, but the warmups are very good.
