but i really hate the pearl binding on it. i want the guitar to have an original floyd rose (or another whammy bar but it must be reliable. i dont want to tune it all the time), preferably emgs or blackouts and preferably neck through. i was thinking about the Dean Razorback V 255, although its got a licensed trem. anyone played this guitar and how does the whammy bar hold up?

im willing to spend anything up to about £700 ($1387, 884 euros)

meh....its not bad but i dont really like the pickguard and ive never been a massive fan of megadeth or dave mustaine anyway. im not sure how happy i am with buying a used guitar, id prefer a new one.... thanks for showing me though. keep them coming

Wow, i usually don't like Bc riches but this is really cool i mean, EMG, ebony fretboard, and OFR, Neck through even? ( and i actually like the binding) and it has a cooler headstock than there other guitars and it is cheap as balls.

If i were to get a v it would be a used Dave Mustane Jackson with the Kahler.

Yeah, the Jackson KV-1.... try $2000-$3000. They are super rare to find. I could kick my ass for selling mine years ago.

i know, but i don't desperately need a new guitar straight away if i can upgrade my current one (im going to put an OFR in it).

i think in the end im going to go to a friend of mine who used to repair guitars and made them occasionally to see if he can make me a custom (not sure if ill go for a v or not). this isnt going to cost anywhere near as much as a professionally made custom and itll probably be ready in around 6 or 7 months
ive decided im going to try a seven string, and i dont know of many if any 7 string vs.
