Brains: To me its trendy to hate on Americans, especially with the typical trite "opinions" that are pretty ludicrious. Its just as trendy to hate on the rich in this country. I've come to have more respect for those who have alot of money. Something like 99% of people with more than a million dollars never enherited it. Which means they made it by their own "boot straps."

Having poor and having rich is the nature of any country, and i'd much rather side with those who are intelligent and inovated their way to the top. It's a kind of darwinistic approach that it seems most "liberals" never seem to accept. The strong will prevail, and the strong isn't the poor. I'm not giving them a fucking hand out because their too ignorant to stop having kids.

Thats one of the dumbest things I've ever heard... Not everyone who is poor is poor because they couldn't stop having kids. Yes, some people get themselves into the situation they are in. But some people honestly can't get out of debt or whatever their situation (can't find work that pays enough, medical problems, etc). Those people I truly feel sorry for. But the pieces of shit who keep having kids, keep repeating the same mistakes, and try to live off of welfare and section 8 housing just need to fucking die. Those people are a drain on the country as a whole. I'm going to assume you agree with this and just made a general statement so that this doesn't start some sort of argument...

At the same time, many people who are rich are profiting off of the misery of others. Think about wealthy business owners. They make millions a year, and their employees struggle to get by. Thats not to say that we should all live in a communistic society where everyone should make the same amount of money regardless of their line of work (communism makes sense on paper, can and never will work out because of the natural human greed and need to feel better/more successful than everyone else).

I don't know, I don't really feel like getting into this whole debate though. I'm hoping that things start to get better in the next few years, but I don't think people in this country are accepting enough of change for it to actually happen.

Ignorant poor people are the people i'm refering to. I don't feel sorry for things that are, or will always will be. There is nothing that can be "done" and assumption that every persons situation can be "improved" is idealistic and asinine.

I agree with this sociology paper i read the other day talking about the pros to having poor people in a society.

Often times there are too many people that waste their time thinking about things they can't fix, nor imagine (but attempt to.) More often than not people who are poor still live worth while lives and to pity them because they don't "have" the same things isn't worth my time. To pity them because they're not in somebody elses shoes I believe could be construed to be just as arrogant as somebody who thinks the poor is "worthless." If you get what i mean.

No i'm not attempting to make this into a debate/argument. If one would like to discuss the topic to bring it out in its full light in an intelligent manner, than sure why not, bash fests like "dumbest thing i've ever heard" aren't my thing and piss me off more than anything. I don't just say random shit without reason. Solid reason at that.

Final fantasy at times is a pretty easy target to "Bash" their games, but as somebody who thrives on rpgs almost every Final Fantasy game starting with the snes ones has been extremely amazing games. On terms of gameplay and originality.

I don't care about graphics most often, and as much as games nowadays attempt to show how "good" they are because they look good and they have multiplayer, at least Final Fantasy games consistently show how amazing their games can be. Even the newest one. (FF12). They continually get better and better.

I must admit though as much as i love FF7 and i was influenced as much as anybody else by that game, in comparison to some of the newer ones FF7 doesn't compare to FF10 or 12.

FF7s story is filled with much holes, and multiple stories that don't sync up. I've posted before about my opinions on FF7. I think it just came out at the right time in peoples growing up phases that most people hold it as one of the best games of all time.

I think for me I feel those kind of feelings for Chrono Trigger. But in reality the game is extremely small and one of the most linear rpgs of all time. Should we judge it differently because of when it was made and its innovations of the day? Sure maybe, it still has one of hte best graphics for snes and is one of the only games on snes especially rpg wise that doesn't have extremely obvious 16 bit graphics. (the chipsets and character sprites alike)

But i must admit the characters were likeable. (outside of cait sith naturally) Hes probably on the list of worst characters of all time. just because they're annoying and not worth ever using.

but I like what you said about when it came out...I played through it when I was in the third and fourth grade......so I can see why it stuck with me for so long. Chrono trigger is pretty whoop-ass, but I've never been interested in it long enough to finish it.

Oh you're now crazy. Chrono trigger has a great rpg story. The characters are great and loveable.

When i first played chrono trigger i was 3rd or 4th grade as well. I've played through Final Fantasy 7 at least 5 times. And at least 1 time doing every single thing in the game. (60+ hours of time getting every single materia mastered and beating all weapons, getting all the final weapons and so on)

I really like the newest FF because of the gameplay. It was the first time that i fel in love with the fighting. Its the only rpg i've ever played where i was like oooooh battles! FUN! I was always at much higher levels than the bosses due to my enjoyment of the battles.

But if you have played Fallout 1 or 2 i highly recommend them. They are without a my favorite rpgs. You can be any kind of character you want, and do anything you want. If you want to be a good character that does things that are "right," cool, if not and want to do just sick and twisted things, cool.

Fallout is a game where the world has gone through nuclear winter and mankind has continued to move on in a anarchic world. Its got a comedic value that isn't seen in many games.

The guy who created final fantasy quit square and started a company called mistwalker. They have made two turn based RPG's for the 360....blue dragon and lost odyssey.....none of them can touch FF...but they are still cool

no. Bad string warlord... get the PC version. And in prepreation for the release buy 1 and 2 for like 10 bucks online. You can get it cheap and you'll get an understanding of why its such an amazing series of games. Silent hill 2 is one of the most amazingly scary games ever. I've also posted ont his before in the video game thread about how awesome that game is. 3 wasn't all that good, 4 was better.

If you do shrooms take a whole 1/8th. There's no point in being cautious your first time if you want to do it. It's all diminishing returns, so if you don't get it real good the first time there's almost no point in doing it at all.

Thankfully I still have 2 bags with a little bit less than an 8th in them. I hear too much about what amount to take and its confusing, Its not like weed or alcohol where I can just find out while taking it.

I'm not calling myself the most innocent of persons but i find this extremely hard to believe. (mostly the comparing any of things that i've "done") This is, at least to my knowledge, the second time you've mentioned "liking" infinity. Although i don't remember if the former you said "compared to other members."

I'd like to know of one instance where I had done a bannable or probably even suspendable offense and didn't get it. Infact i've never been suspended nor warned of a suspension. Well about the last 15 posts were about a serious waste of my time, outside of gauging who is worth talking to in the forum.
