I actually stayed near Cape Vincent. But yeah, it was a fishing trip. I caught a couple chests full of perch, nothern pike, walleye and bullhead. I mostly caught bass, but they're not in season so I had to throw them back. I did spend a day in Syracuse though.

I use those plastic sheaths that you get to protect vinyls, and put a couple of pins through the top, so the jacket doesn't get damaged, as the pins go through the plastic sheath and not the jacket

Pike are definitely my favorite to fish for. The have a tendency to grab their bait and run for the weeds with it before they actually swallow; that combined with the fact that they have very bony mouths make them tougher to hook than Bass or Perch. Not to mention their weight/fight ratio makes them fun to reel in. Since the crappy little hotel near the lake died, we haven't been up in a few years.

I love fishing for pike as well. They were hard to find though. My step dad and I caught 2 the entire time. My step dad said the last time he was their he caught a chest in an hour just off the dock. They're fucking delicious as well but hard to clean if you don't know the proper way.
We didn't fish Black Lake but we did troll Black River. We caught 4 walleyes within the first 10 minutes but they were all around 13 inches so we couldn't keep them. We might be going back in a couple weeks or at least once more before the season ends.

Yeah I usually hack em 4 or 5 chunks (depending on the size of the fish), gut the sections including the spine, then skin em last... much different than filleting a bass.

Philips Moisterising system something or other deluxe type, was about 140 euros.
Was wondering if all the extra value realy added to anything, but I'm pretty satisfied so far, and 6 months of using good replacable razors is just as expensive.

In anycase, in addition to classical guitar, I've started work on piano a few days ago. I really regret not starting work on the piano years ago, tis' an amazing instrument, and the fact that I've always had one around makes me upset that I didn't learn to appreciate it years ago.

Even when I was into getting drunk/high, I never liked big parties. The one I actually decided to go to ended up getting raided by the cops. Long story short, running out the back without telling anyone else that the cops were coming, hiding out in a waffle house piss drunk, having to leave my car at said waffle house and pick it up the next day.
