Amp vs Speaker Ohms Question

Ok,

I have a 22 watt tube amp I'm going to make into a combo. The amp has 4,8, and 16 ohm outputs. I want to use a 1x12 combo setup. What ohm speaker should I get? I've read all sorts of threads on this, but most talk about wiring multiple speakers to match impedance. I just want the most versatile configuration possible. There's 8 ohm and 16 ohm speakers. Also, I'm debating on a greenback or a v30. I'm looking to emphasize the cleans on this amp. It's an old school one channel that has cutting clean tone. Any help is greatly appreciated!
