mesa boogie triple rec

Hey, just looking for some tips to achieve an Exodus thrash tone on a Mesa triple rec. I tend to overpower the signal and turn my tone to mud. I have 2 guitars I'm using.

2nd channel with presence at max, on either raw or modern setting, bass fairly high, mids at middle, and treble fairly high. Thats a pretty dece thrash tone....havent listened to exodus in a while though, that probably doesn't help
