I love the beat you did on the actual band song around the 3:00 mark. The speeding up and slowing down kick drums, that's sick.
The kick drum sounds nice and fat on the solo, but it does sound a little too powerful in comparison to the rest of the kit. I know you're not looking for ideas on your recording methods, but it's a little hard to hear the quality of your solo with that in mind = /
