yeah great album, nothing beats orchid, but its way better than BWP, which was good, but it has some cheesy parts, this dosent. You could mistake 2 of the songs for morbid angel 2, its got some brutal stuff. I got the special addition digi-pack.

i dunno, well, i like deliverance...but.... i dunno. it is, in my oppinion the worst opeth album (still good!!!). i kinda like the ending of the song deliverance, great one. but somehow i miss the riffs that made the albums special...like that part at the end of blackwater park, the main part of the moor, the riff of april ethereal....

wreath just sounds so.."constructed". i've got the album in my car, maybe i just need time to really appreciate it...i love all the other opeth outputs, so this one will hit me sooner or later anyway

in my opinion Opeth should never be played as backround music, it isnt ment to be. You have to sit down, turn it up loud and think about things. Its ment to be absorbed. At first i wasnt really exited about this album the first time I listend to it, in fact i was a bit dissapointed but ive listened to it 2 days later and it really took me in. Why not get the heavy one penis? Even tho this one is classified as the "harder" album, it has just as much mellow stuff. Really theres only 3 heavy songs, the rest are mellow.

That's odd...I won't listen to Opeth unless it's on as background music...

I have to say so far I'm disappointed with this record when compared to the previous 2 releases. It's not a bad record by any means, but it doesn't seem quite as sharp as Still Life.

Still life is great, i dont know why so many people diss like it. But its hard to fallow up great albums. I think thats one of the reasons I am dissapointed in black water park, is beacuse still life had me expecting something better.

I thought the new album was pretty good. Decent. But Blackwater Park is still my shrine.
