I have Diablo III up and running but the FUCKING ERROR 316704 MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE TO PLAY. Well, actually, if you type into the chat box like every minute or so it'll keep it running for quite a while but that is still irritating as fucking poop. Blizzard needs to fix this asap. How was this overlooked?? lolz.

I'm still on my first run through on Normal not even past the first act haha. Hardcore sounds so intense... if you die is it completely game over?? If so then I think I may stick to moving up to Hard on the rest of my quests but that is about it.

Yeah, if you die its all over and your char is gone forever. Your gold and stash items are shared globally in your account so you save those. DEFINITELY play the game through to Inferno first (especially if you never played D2) before you start HC. The difficulty scaling is insane between acts, and I'm not exaggerating at all.

People just blazed through the game to rush to it, thats not very fun. Take your time.
Also, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND clicking the "elective mode" box in the gameplay options. That allows you to put ANY skill you want in any of the hot keys. Why they have this as an option not turned on, I don't know.

yes I heard about that! sounds quite useful, but I'd have to choose the keys wisely... I am very used to the layout right now. I also keep switching out skills because I have no idea which is better sometimes and I don't want to make it hard on myself just because I didn't figure out some awesome strategy with a certain skill.

I've played about an hour or so of Black Mesa and it's pretty fucking impressive. In fact, it makes the original Half-life and the Half-life: Source games look like they're the fan mods and Black Mesa is the real deal!
It's been pretty funny too, especially during the opening sections where you're interacting with the other scientists before the shit hits the fan. Really good writing and voice acting. I knew it would be a good mod and a lot of effort has gone into it (8 years' worth, to be precise) but it's much better than I would ever have expected.
And it's FREE!!!!!!!!!!!1

The Xen section (i.e. the alien bit) is to be released later, but what we have now is a full-length game with an appropriate ending (appropriate in the sense that it doesn't leave you wondering where the other half of the game is), so don't worry about that son.

I played for a couple hours today. Its a lot of fun and I can only imagine playing this soo many years ago for the first time and how groundbreaking it was/is. yep.. the game is incredibly fun, but if you don't actually have a team or something, then it's a huge pain in the ass. There needs to be a huge bolded tip somewhere in the client that states, "buying wards boosts your win rate by 80%".

Hey guys, Used to post on this site constantly back in my highschool days, fell out for a while, but I'm still listening to Death metal and playin violent ass video games. I'm glad to see this particular thread is still active after 5 years hahaha.
Anyway I love to stream sometimes and usually listen to Opeth, Pantera, or Nile while slaughterin check out my stream if you want.
