Nemesis NA650

My GK finally crapped out today.
the input died....... AGAIN
this is the fourth time I've had it replaced, each time by a different specialist so It HAS to be something else fucking with the wiring causing the input to short.
even when it does work, the EQ adjustments are almost useless, you can hardly tell from 1-10 on bass treble mids knobs.
I'm SICK of my amp.

this summer I'm hoping to save up for something thats a little classier. I've grown a lot as a musician since I got my GK and it held up well until these past 6 months, but its time to move on to better equipment that I can utilize more now than I could before.

the main amp I'm scouting is the Eden Nemesis NA650.
http://www.eden-electronics.com/Nem...indiv/na650.asp

it runs you about 700 US on musiciansfriend, 650 watts, a shit ton of tone versatility, and that beautiful sound you can only get from eden amps.

I played one at a local store that sells higher end products, but as we all know, it never sounds as good out of the store.

Basically has anyone here ever owned one? did anything fail right away? how do the tech support and warranty(if any) people deal with situations. Is it worth the dough?

Eden and Randall amps are basically the same company. Last time I checked they were in the same building. In fact, Eden makes the modules for the Randall MTS. I own a RM100 and its a tough amp. Part quality has room for improvement ( mainly the capacitors ) but they are well put together. I'm just a freak about part quality though after using military grade stuff for years. It seems like a good price too.

Btw, replace the fan in that thing if you get it. The ones they use are ok but for $5 more a better one can be used that moves more air and makes less noise. Scythe case fans were what I ended up replacing mine with.

yeah, getting this amp would mean having to buy another rack.
my old one is too shallow. I was just gonna buy one of those 2 space fan panel things.
