thx guys. the camera mic isn't great, but i think this is a decent representation of the amp's sound.
with the mids up, it's got a lot of growl. if you dime them it gets a whole new warm sound (kind of like a 'transistor radio' eq type effect). when you scoop them out it gets that awesome deep slam sound. overall i think it's a really good rhythm amp, if you like that solid state kind of harsh bite. for leads, it might be a bit brittle without delay and compression.
think i'm gonna start doing vids for each new piece of gear i get ... it's more fun to discuss gear when you can actually hear/see it.
just got a peavey rockmaster, so i'll film that once it's retubed. i'll get a new card too so i can make longer vids.
