Looking to get a death metal sound...
I bought a Behringer V-Tone GMX 1200H Head analog last year. I know alot of people hate Behringer and all, but its not a bad head for the money.
My main problem is it doesn't give enough disortion as I would want it too. I like a good death metal tone. I tried Death Metal pedals and they always have alot of static, cracks and whatnot. I have a noise reducer pedal as well that helps but it still sounds like shit. So Im wondering is there any pedal or anything for that matter I can get more of a stronger disortion tone or death metal sound out of my amp without buying another new head or buying a million pedals to get the sound Im looking for? or even advice on how I can raise some settings or lower them, or add in chours, flanger, etc....
All help is needed please. I do like the Spider III alot but im not ready to spend more money yet.

Try out some of the Line 6 Pod xt pedals.... your question can have thousands of answers. I've played through this pedal and fiddled around with it and got some balls to the wall sounds.

Not even a handful of pedals compare to the quality and straight up TONE of a good 'ol from-the-amp distortion. The only real solution is to start saving some cash, and just buy a decent amp (or preamp).
The V-Tone's distortions should be alright enough for now, even for death metal stuff. Make sure you're not overdoing it with the gain. Keep effects to a bare minimum and keep the mids present in your sound.
EDIT ::: Having owned a POD XT Live, I can vouch for what Me_himself says. Personally the way I look at it is yeah, it's a badass unit, but for the price of one new ($400) you can find a Peavey 5150 combo, or Ampeg VH140c combo, if you save up a bit more and look around enough. Hell, sometimes not even $400 - I saw a slightly used VH140c combo go for $350 the other night.

Sounds like pedals aren't the problem here, sounds like you should buy a new head or cab or both. If you decide to buy a new head, whatever it is make sure it's a tube amp. That will give you that warm death metal tone your looking for.

What guitar are you playing? What kind of pickups are in it?

firstly ditch the behringer head, i've owned some behringer equipment before and now it all just collects dust or is used fas a headphone amp to jam with MP3s
secondly what kind of Death metal tone are you looking for, are there artists out already that have a tone you like or something like that so that a sound can be compared

Hardly a fair comparison; New price of one vs used price of another.
You can get XT's for pretty cheap too: http://search.ebay.com/podxt
