haha, this is great. A couple of weeks ago, I bought a second hand playstation2.
I thought about getting a mod chip for it, but after researching it, I just hacked my memory card and it play backups just fine
I could even hack it a bit more, install a custom pc hardrive, fill it up with game iso's and a snes emulator, and use that
thank god for nerds with no life figuring those thing out for me

Its not even adding one extra letter in cases like that, its adding the right letter. I fucking hate that shit. Especially stuff like "wut" when it really is a matter of adding one extra letter along with the correct syllable. It seems like it'd be more work learning to type and spell it differently, get into the habit of it in casual conversation, then have to revert back to the correct way when writing something formal like a letter or paper.

I didn't write anything, but there is some customising one has to do.
Basicly, using an exploit on older ps2 versions, one can let the thing do anything you want.
Play burned games, use an emulator, install linux, put in a normal or usb harddisk, you just download the files you want, package it so you can use it, put it on your memory card, and you are done
In other news, my ENGL 530 arived. It feels like christmass is early this year

$600 worth of cid is a ridiculous amount. that should get you at least 600 hits, but in reality probably more. Good investment if you're planning to deal seeing as you can sell them for $10 a hit.

As gay as it may sound to some, a good trip sitter is a great fucking idea. And I'm guessing they're getting it in a vial as opposed to 600 dollars worth of blotters?

Dropping acid without one would never even stand as a consideration for me.
edit: One time my friend, who used to be heavily into acid, took it and a bunch of the people he was with did a whole buncha fucked up shit like made him watch a horror movie and swarmed him and repeatedly said, "trippin trippin trippin trippin trippin, etc."

I'm gunna have to agree with ya. I never liked being around people who aren't tripping when i was. I felt like they weren't part of my world, or weren't on the same level. Something to that effect.

I understand completely. The only time I did LSD I was with others you were high, drunk, and sober. I could converse with the high friends, but the drunks were too belligerent and I could only take them in 2 minute intervals.

Well..fuck..I don't know why I'm posting this, but..
Today, I found out an aquaintance/friend of mine killed herself in the weekend..
It's like..so sudenly..nobody expected anything..nobody knows why..
And the crazy thing is..she had so many plans, so many things she wanted to do, both long and short term..
I think I'll keep it at that, seeing as either people here don't care, or I don't want to burden anyone who'se not involved..
R.I.P. Marsha, I regret not knowing you better, but I hope you found whatever you were looking for..

Stress can make you do strange things man...even to the point of taking your own life. What to me makes this one of the poorest choices and is the hardest on friends is that within 15-20mins suicidal thoughts are all gone.
My 12th grade year in highschool first semester a kid who laughed harder than all of us, walked in his door one night crying. He walked right into his room and blew his head off with a 12 gauge sawed of shotgun. Very sad, and from the looks of it then and now it was hard on his family.

Yea, that story should have ended with the guy freaking out and killing everyone in the room with a LSD spasm.

I hate shit like that. Psychedelics put you into a very, very vunerable state which is why you should never do them in a party like atmosphere or with people that have been drinking, even if they're conscious that you're tripping and wouldn't normally try to disturb you. My absolute worst experience was an acid trip that eventually got on the wrong track largely due to ignorant (to what tripping is like) friends being drunk.
Sitters are always a good idea, though I also think its important that they for the most part stay out of your way and stick around just in case of an emergency. I get the best results when I trip alone. Though with a friend is always good fun, but its very different.

Sorry to hear about that brainsforbreakfast. One of my friends recently decided to kill himself and it really caused me to take a new perspective on my own life. Learn from it.

Strange you should mention that. A few years back, this kid decided to do 10 grams of hydroponic mushrooms and go to a party. Needless to say, he was trippin' balls and he pissed himself. Drunk people started making fun of him, so the guy took out his hunting knife and stabbed 7 people....many of them ended up in intensive care.
The kid is no serving 7 years and wont be getting out until 2012.

To everyone curious about why they purchased so much cid: they are selling it and I get a free hit!(probably more than one) They will be the only people with cid in this town so they can regulate prices.
high demand - low suppliers = jacked up prices

A good acid trip is a beautiful experience for a person that is fully capable of handling it. I don't know if reqtum on cid is a good idea. Just a thought. The shit can seriously fucking change you if you don't take to it well, and it still changes shit even if you can.

Did you honestly think you missed something worthwhile in an RTT?
I took like a 6 month or longer vacation and i feel confident that i may have missed maybe two big things at most.

Well regardless of how surprising that might be, it can be that big if people of all intelligence and awkwardnesses still breed.

There was a pretty good turn out today for people showing up for the anti-war rally but as always, not nearly enough. God when the fuck will everyone wake up? I'm pretty exhausted after being on my feet since 9 in the morning but I can feel my tolerance for being exhausted rising.

Got me a new amp, and I love it.
Crate GTD120/212, 3-channels, effects, foot switch, and the sheer radiation of awesomeness. It's enough to give you ball cancer right before it crushes your testicles with its brutality! RAWR!

You should stick to drums.
Crate stuff is a pretty solid for alot of stuff. Does metal pretty well. I've had quite a few people comment on my tone with the Blue Voodoo.

Yeah Crate makes some pretty fuckin' sweet amps. Their instruments are rubbish though.

The only real luck I've had with Crate is with their stacks, especially the old school ones before they slightly modified the logo. My friend's got one of those and he's gonna give me the head free of charge once he finds another one. The low end is full as can be and the lead tone has the potential to be buttery as fuck.

Yep.
To me it actually has way too much low end. I usually put the "low low" almost as low as it can go. Its a bit too boomy for me.
Works well when you are playing bass through it though.

about the standup; I just recently got interested in the US style of standup. Sofar my heroes are (old) Sam Kinison, George Carlin (goddamn that guy must be the most respectable dude I've ever listened to) and Bill Hicks (the absolute favorite, not only because of his jokes, but more because of his true affinity with music, how this world works and how we are constantly being FUCKED OVER by ignorance spread by New Kids on the Block and the US government)

What kind were you into before?
British stand up even today is the most god awful shit ever. Its so painfully boring. I might smile once during a 30 minute performance. Its not like i don't get the jokes, they're just not funny.

Transient: I definitely saw this before. haha this was definitely a funny fucking end to a stand up show.
Right near the end when he makes fun of the guy yelling in the front row is hilarious as shit.

According to one of the youtube posts its on par with some bill hicks meltdown. I'm trying to find that video.
hahaha this has to be it.
Bill hicks
Or maybe this one. I think i've seen this one.
Bill hicks 2
I HATE, when people yell out freebird. EVERY show i have ever been to i've heard that stupid... STUPID fucking heckle.
"RAIN 40 DAYS PLEASE FUCKING RAIN AND WASH THESE FUCKING TURDS OFF MY LIFE.."
I should say recite the 2nd video every single time i hear somebody say something stupid. (which is WAY too often) The dangerous amount of walking stupidity.

Yeah, that Bill Hicks response is lengendary.
While we're on the topic of stupid people.. someone said this to me today while "discussing" astrology:
"People need to get real... its math and science, not magic. We're all a part of a big clock whether you like it or not."

My favorite standup comedian is Mitch Hedberg (r.i.p.). He was so unique and talented. I don't think there will ever be anyone quite like him.

People need to wake up from this blanket if ignorance put upon them.
I think the internet is becoming a sincere root of alot of peoples assumed knowledge.
Truthdevoid: Everybody seems to like Mitch but i can't stand him. Hes funny now and again, and yes hes original, but i just can't stand him. Small jokes, that don't really mean anything. Hes not far off from joke joke tellers, and thats another kind of comedian style i can't stand. Rodney Dangerfield is one of those pioneers.

Hey, thanks for everyones replies earlier. Last week was so fucking hectic, couldn't get to posting sooner.
Heavy shit at that, open casket & funeral. But at least the shock & confusion of most people have worn out..
Heh, it's strange though. We're having a white easter

No idea what happened but apparently you went to a funeral.
Open casket viewing is definitely something intresting/odd. When i saw my friend he looked like a wax figure in a muesem.
Actually i dont' know if i told anybody here about that. I wasn't on metaltabs when it happened. Best friend was killed in Afghanistan last july. Thats what my tat is about (profile pic)

music notes are called by their letter name in english. B = B , etc! a small b = minor, # = major

Better going out in a blaze of glory than drinking and driving which was probably bound to be teh case. (note my tattoo has him driving from a keg party.. haha)
Yeah Tranny is right about it.
Didn't know they had "other" variations of that. I've never used "do re mi fa so la ti do" in my entire music "career."
I think its mostly used for kids and or vocal singing but i could be mistaken on that.

No. You use the correct music theory terminology. Such as an E major triad, I, ii, iii, V terminology, or something like Csus4.
I would venture to say anybody who uses "do re mi" shouldn't be taken very seriously.
