hey guys, new to the forums here

im looking into getting a rack rig setup, so far ive got a furman power conditioner and a Korg DTR1000, im gonna be adding a noise gate as well as wireless shortly.

Im looking for something that can either play CD's or MP3s, for live purposes. You know when you see a band and they open with some kind of intro music, well I'd like to run something like that through my rig. 1) What are my options 2) How would I go about doing that live? run it through my amp directly , run a line out to say a DI to the board, etc... Now most shows im playing right now aren't huge venues , some with crap PAs so im looking for as many options to see what would work best. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated
