Bridges for Teles
I've decided to take it upon myself to build a telecaster out of this tele body that i found in my basement. It has all the pup's and control panel's wiring routing done on it, all i need to do is install everything (pickguard, pups, control panel, electronics) and bridge, but the thing is, there is no string-thru-body hole at the back, it's literally a block of wood.
Now i'm looking for a company, or some other way to have the strings go through the bridge only, not the body, if you know what i mean. I've looked at bigsby bridges, and they seem neat, but if there is an alternative, it'd be cool to know

The only top-loading bridges I could think of are certain Tune-O-Matics, locking trems, Fender Mustang bridges, and Bigsbys. Top-loading meaning that the string travel starts out at the bridge as opposed to behind the body. I think that something like this may be just what you need. It's an old-school Tele-bridge, kind of what I think would have came on that Tele body you have. I see no other way that guitar could have been strang up.

Hell yeah Bigsbys are whack and maintaining them/setting them up is a fucking pain in the ass. Of course you know how it is... to each his own. I just couldn't imagine palm muting that shit, that shit is almost like a floating bridge.
