Not bad. Pretty damn good. Love the beginning of Bringer of Storms.

Yeah it's very nice, I still need to listen to it more though. At first I was a bit worried but upon closer inspection I realized that it was very well composed. Just need some headphones to hear everything clearly, I'm guessing(hoping) this isn't the final mix, since Erik can do way more clearer-sounding production jobs than this.
I hope they print some ltd. ed version of the album.

I love it. By far my favorite one by them. I really like low end heavy shit. That's how I do it.

it sounds like luc lemay and dave suzuki got together to jam on some behemoth covers, and this was the first rehearsal.
rutan went buck wild with the dissonant muddy chords and then he's got the dim mak dude adding more tech on top, and webster? who knows i can't hear anything in this fucking mix.
trying too hard to be 'extreme' i think. should have spent more time putting the zillion parts together into cohesive songs. too much blasting and tech, not enough dynamics, very few memorable moments. the solos are terrible and they don't fit into the songs half the time.
what a mess.

I really like this album, but unless I'm in complete silence with headphones and the volume turned up really loud, I can't hear shit! The material on it is great but the production sounds really rushed, especially for Erik who always seems to take a lot of time and effort in producing. It contributes to it sounding rather same-y at times. I hope he tries a different approach on the next album.

Derek didn't play drums on this album.
And yes it could have been much better.

i remember now
wasn't there something about him leaving death metal to expand his horizons?
he just recorded the new TID album so i assume he's touring with them
horrible combination by the way, TITD haven't done anything noteworthy since SWP.
