Liquor and beer is great; but if had the choice to be drunk or high, I'd choose the latter or both. But that's just me.

oh shut up all of you self-righteous drug-free goody-two-shoes. the reason why people are afraid of most drugs is because most people are idiots when it comes to knowing how to take them. If they'd just do a little research beforehand they would know what to expect and what not to do.

first time getting high is always crazy. some people really like it the first time, but others dont so much. the first times i got high, it was nuts, but after a while i was able to handle it and fully enjoy the high. eventually if you've smoked enough times, you'll realize how amazing things are. Video games will be super fun and easy. Driving is also very fun and easy and safe when you're high. Something that should be taken into account when talking about the legality of marijuana. How many people are killed from drunk drivers vs high drivers?

When I drink and drive, I have a tendency to swerve and accelerate / decelerate more.... but when I smoke and drive, I tend to drive...... a little slower You don't hear much about people who were smoking pot and getting pulled over for driving too slow.

I'm very careful when I smoke and drive, mainly because I, also, drive slower while high.
My first time wasn't very intense, I laughed at everything though and loved music more. The second time, I smoke a blunt with a friend. THAT WAS INTENSE! Pot time was even longer then, one minute felt like five, I could focus on anything, and I couldn't taste food because my toungue was tingling so bad. I think it could have been laced.
I for about 4 to 5 months after that. Then I started again and it became so relaxing. Its definately one of the great perks in life.

Drinking and driving is an art that I perfected. Thank god I just moved and all bars are a maximum of two beers walking distance.
I stopped with soft/harddrugs a while back. only fluids the doctor said.

I'm probably not one of those people who are afraid of doing drugs, but I most definitely can be called self-righteous. I've never seen a reason to stuff my body full of illegal substances for the sake of a temporary high. I've never tried it, so I'm an outsider looking in, but from the outside it seems really stupid, kind of like cigarettes, and guitar hero.
I can think of some many more legal/productive ways to deteriorate my body and mind. Food, sex till it hurts, video games, taking care of random family members, listening to peoples' problems, being lazy, watching cartoons, reading useless trash, leaving my window open in -1 weather, and living. Some of those actually can be productive, they all are legal, but at the sametime they can all fuck up your head/body over time.
Point:
I'm not closed-minded, fear doesn't stop me, I just think it's dumb, and my curiosity isn't piqued in the least; If anything, not giving a fuck is what really keeps me from doing drugs.

When you say "a big thing," do you mean making it a part of your life, or trying to use it as a means of attracting attention on internet message boards?
EDIT: nevermind, I thought you said "can't you just do drugs and not make a big thing about it"

haha i mean it goes both ways too but people who are super super anti-drug (and not recovered addicts who basically NEED to swing full force the other way) are pretty embarassing

Yeah, the straight edge people who have never had any sort of drug experience, and have never seen what it actually does to a person in real life usually sound pretty silly when they share their reasoning behind what they believe... a simple "the good shit is too expensive" argument will suffice

Haha, it does at the end. It reminded me of those little dark ghosts from Silent Hill 1 at the beginning.

Yeah, the closest I've gotten to that is LOTS of codeine. But next weekend I'm gonna be doing some oxycodone. This will get me fucked up and happy. I've always heard good things about x, except for over-hydration/de-hydration.

I don't know about ghosts. I've seen things when I was a ghost hunter, but nothing to make me I believe. I'd like to believe their is creepy shit out there, but that really clashes with my "I'm not religious" lifestyle.

You should do research on X before you try it out man. I'm glad I passed up doing it after reading all the side-effects.

I drink last night. =D
And now I provide laughs.
So a guy walks into a bar and the tender says, "I'm sorry, I can't serve you here unless you're wearing a tie." The guy says, "Okay, 'be right back," and goes to his car to find something like a tie, but all he's got are a set of jumper cables. So he ties them around his neck, walks back into the bar and says "How's this?" Bartender says "Well, okay, but don't start anything."
EDIT:
A priest, a minister, and a rabbi walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, "What is this? Some kind of joke?"

I used to sell X, and do it quite a bit until one night did too much and ended up in the hospital. Worst experience of my life. Then i had to deal with side effects such as panic attacks and whatnot for a long time after. Still til this day i feel the effects of that one night. Not cool. X could bring you the best time of your life, or the worst. Is it really worth it?

Lortabs are hydrocodone, which is almost basically the same thing man. All opiates are pretty closely related. The effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphine, heroin, etc. are basically all so similar that you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between them if given in similar dosages

I've done codeine and hydrocodone (I know they are much weaker). And what probably made you throw up was either some natural adverse reaction (which I, surprisingly, never have to opiates), or too much acetaminophen. I'm planning to insufflate 10mg, which hits you in 5-10 seconds, and it barely has any acetaminophen.
But I'll let you know if I throw up everywhere. How much did you do though? just curious, might be helpful for me to know.

acetaminophen would ruin your liver long before you threw up from it i believe
opiates are well known for messing up your stomach on the other hand

yeah, I think anyone would be safe staying close to 1 gram in one go. The largest daily dose is supposed to be 4 grams, and the actual toxic dose is 10 grams.

I did xtc once, and I smoked two joint of it. Needless to say I was feeling mighty great that night. I probably drunk 2 liters of water that night, but I felt great.
I just smoked the rest of my stash, I feel great but now I remember I won't be getting any more for a couple days. Damn.

I've never (and wouldn't) snorted vicodin, but from what I understand you shouldn't snort anything that has acetaminophen because It'll fucking burn like Satan's gonorrhea and it can fuck up your sinuses in large amounts. Its best just to take on an empty stomach. A safer method that helps the onset come on faster making the hydrocodone feel stronger is to "parachute". Basically pound the pill into dust and put in bread, paper, etc.
You could probably also do some kind of cold water distraction to seperate the acetaminophen which would probably be a very smart thing to do and is probably pretty easy.
I've never done X mainly because its so notorious for being cut with lots of nasties (check out these results from last year: http://www.ecstasydata.org/datastat...mmary&percent=1).

Thinking about trying X for the first time. It's pretty easy to pick up and I have connections to LSD based X which I've never heard of until my mate mentioned it.

LSD-based X? I've heard of similar types of combinations but what exactly do you mean by that?

yeah, I still need to pick up their third album, after which they disbanded (unfortunately ), but I hear they've all started their own projects. idk what they're called but I'm sure wikipedia could help you out with that.

I'm not privy on this discussion but I THINK most forms of X are based from speed and heroine which is the difference.

Mike Patton (vocalist) has more "side projects" than I can count. My favorites are Tomahawk, Fantomas, Loveage, and the incredible EP he put out with The Dillinger Escape Plan Irony is a Dead Scene. Trey's band is called Secret Chiefs 3 and is also worth checking out.

Heroin? Where on earth did you hear that? Take a look at its chemical name: 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine

The flu made me hotter than a bastard and I threw everything I ate back up. Plus i could shit through a needle at 10 paces. It would be spraying out of one end or the other, or both. Simultaneously.

The only thing thats probably true in that video is that that Sting cover is awesome. I instantly knew something was up when they said it was more massive than our sun.
There's a HUGE problem with that video. Scientists aren't sure what caused the Tunguska event. Oh yeah, and THIS: http://www.badastronomy.com/bablog/...anger-to-earth/
EDIT: He says Tunguska was an impactor? Does anyone know if we've settled on the theory of some kind of asteroid?

Because he had a Muslim joke, I think.

btw I tried Cold-Water-Extraction and it works, but the experience I had with snorting yielded pretty cool results for such low dosages. Although that was my first time with hydrocodone, so I'm not positive. Still, do you think it would hurt to just do a total of 5 times, Doc?

Because he posted a picture of Mohammad which is considered a very big no-no by Muslims and is, in their eyes, incredibly disrespectful. While we here at MT are all for being offensive and vulgar, it wasn't the right place and nor did he, if viewed, have any fair warning to choose to see the image or not.

You snorted hydocodone (which I'll abbreviate from now on as "HC") with out ever trying the normal injestion? Kind of silly considering you don't have a safer method to compare the results with (which would be the whole point of insulfating, a possible better alternative. But just because it works better doesn't mean you should do it). You should try taking the same dosage on an empty stomach and determine the difference. I don't recommend doing it once, nor 5 times because there will probably be a 6th, a 7th, an 8th, and then a "oh nos! my brains are sliding out of my nose!". Just pop the oblong pearls like they're meant to be and avoid unknown side effects from snorting things that shouldn't be snorted. And like I said, you can always "parachute" the HC. One benefit from injestion is that it should last longer, too.

Ha. HA. H.
We had a guy here in Sweden who published a picture of Mohammed with the body of some sort of crossbreed mut. Lars Vilks is his name, and has he had to endure some crossfire from the combined forces of muslims and the politicially correct. A teacher of mine back in elementary had a picture on the wall in the class room with Muhammed standing with an earthglobe with a fuse in one hand and a lighter in the other.
My undying support to these two men for their stance.

Well, if it's in good fun I really can't bother about it. In this case it was Atif's thread so I guess he kinda had it coming.
Anyways, I don't agree with most muslims but some are ok. It depends on how hard-core they are but same goes for christians.

I'm playing the Goliath The Soothsayer game. It's point and click like Clocktower series. Seems to have a interesting story if I could only get past the first part.

Got sick at work Friday. Left went home, around 4:45 i threw up everything i had eaten since around 7:00 that morning. All throughout the night if i drank or ate something i would be back in the bathroom puking it right back up around 30-45 minutes later. During all this a terrible headache built up and caused me to wake up around every hour or so.
Ever since that night i havent had any craving for food or a cig. I'm sorta forcing my self to eat here and there. I've had the worst case of fatigue in my life, even worse than a morning where you gotta be at work at 6 and you went to sleep drunk at 4:55.

I guess that's better in the long run. And that parachuting thing sounds really cool but it kinda went over my head... but I am very good at extracting codeine/whatever so I'll probably just do that with 20mg of oxycodone.

If you mean you'll parachute 20mg of oxycodone then becareful! Very easy to OD on that, especially if you're using OxyContin.

20mg isn't enough to OD on, especially orally, so you'll be alright

Someone without any tolerance to Oxycontin could OD on a crushed 20mg depending on the path of intake. In Oxycontin, the oxycodone is designed for a sustained release effect and if instead it is all released almost at once (snorting, possibly parachuting) it could definitely pose a threat. On the other hand, if you're not using Oxycontin then what TD said is probably true.

We used to get a shitload of oxycontins a few years ago. almost an unlimited amount of 20's and 40's. Everyone i know started out by snorting a whole 20 and it never seemed to be too much or anything like that. At worst you may feel sick and puke a few times, but it's not enough for anything fatal.
