	| I can't believe you're falling for this.
^ This is what I wrote before I Googled it.

In fact, I was about to remind you what the Jester Race and Clayman and Whoracle looked like, and tell you that you were being hoaxed. But apparently, I'm the arsehole this time. According to that reliable source, Wikipedia, the coverart is by the same guy that did that does covers for The Used.

My students inform me that "The Used" is what they delicately classify as "gay emo shit". Young people have a way with words.

Why am I still talking about In Flames? Pish.

(Did you know In Flames had a 2005 album called "Come Clarity"? How prophetic. I think they're trying to tell us all their sperm are dead.)

Is their new cover art is something that you enjoy? You didn't express an opinion thus far.

	| And the Full Length Artwork:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2243..._048edeb46f.jpg
As for what I think of it: I certainly think it's pretty unwonted for a metal band to have such artwork, but I don't think it's absolutely terrible. I like colors, just what the artwork might actually mean is beyond me. Devilish chickenheads, jesters, Dr. Suess-like, cartoonish panoramas? I still have high expectations for the album. Unlike most In Flames fans, I like the new stuff a lot more. I just hope it's more in the vein of Reroute to Remain. |

cant say im looking forward to this. Reroute was the last decent thing i heard, and i dont like the whole album. i listened to the Jester Race last night. i'll be stickin' with the old stuff. but who knows, maybe this new one will be worth the drive space. |

	| WTF?! That looks weird. I love their earlier stuff and I thought that Come Clarity was at least a step in the right direction, with some lead shit. Can't see Anders doing too much low growling, or indeed losing the whiny singing. *hangs head* I'd love to know how many post Clayman CD's they have sold compared to pre- Clayman.... Who the F**k is buying this stuff?!

I think The Mirror's Truth and Disconnected are both amazing songs. The Mirror's Truth reminds me of Trigger with that killer prechorus. And Disconnected is HEAVY and reminiscent of Zombie Inc. |

	| After Come Clarity, I've lost faith in In Flames. They remind me too much of Korn (as someone has said) now, music-wise.

Aren't vocals musically involved? -_=

That was what I was getting at. The vocals sound too "Korn-y." Whiny clean, obnoxious scream. Overall, a 9.0 on the gay-mo-meter.

Instrumentation's just boring. Although, I will say, "F(r)iend" is fun to play now and then.

of course they are, but i thats like comparing a death metal band to like opeth or something because they both growl (i can't think of an example right now) if you get what i mean though. yes vocalists are an instrument and do of course make up a part of the sound of a band, but one member sounding or playing like another bands member doesn't warrant a comparison in my eyes. just my opinion though, and kalmah posted some good examples anyway.

	| The entire EP has leaked and in my opinion, in flames has never sounded so good. Tilt, Eraser, and Abnegation are the heaviest in flames has ever been. It seems like they finally don't feel the need to try to be brilliant anymore and they're just doing what they want to. |

i thought reroute was heavier, songs like system are much heavier than any of these i think.
this new stuff is good though, better than come clarity. i still think reroute was the last perfect album they released though, this one sounds better than STYE and come clarity though
