Truss rod wrench sizes
I got a 8 mm truss wrench for my Jackson DKMG off of someone's advice and it didn't fit. Now I'm guessing it's actually a 5/16 inch wrench like a Gibson, but I don't want to spend another 8 bucks without knowing for sure. Does anybody know what truss rod wrench sizes are used for what guitar brands?

Thanks man, I figured it was gonna be that. I just bought a cool T-handle 5/16" truss wrench from Allparts.
I can't believe Guitar Center doesn't carry truss rod wrenches for fuck's sake.
Thanks to everyone also in the neck action/relief settings thread for answering my questions.

I just use an allen wrench. A set of sizes both metric and standard is pretty cheap compared to $8 for a single T handle allen wrench. That's a rip off!

I hear ya man, only problem is this was a non Allen socket style nut.
I ended up paying $10.00 for my t-handle socket wrench but at least I can adjust my damn truss rod now, and it fits my Schecter and Ibanez too.
