Death metal vocal pproblem

ok my vocals arent going anywhere not geting deeper or louder and i have had my tonsils removed do you think this could be a problem?

Well, not having tonsills shouldn't get in the way, but if the surgery was recent then there could be a lot of strain on your throat and stuff.

What kind of vocals are you trying to achive? You really need to practice and use more gut/stomach than throut. You also don't need to be very load. If your performing live your vocals do not need to be crazy load, you will just hurt your vocal coards. I have been doing death metal vocals for a while and it takes practice.
